FRIENDS OF THE ASSOCIATION— AREA would like to thank its Friends of the Association. In addition to being featured at the annual conference, our Friends of the Association are listed for a full year from the date of contribution on the AREA website. The price remains the same at $250. New sponsors (aka: Friends of the Association) are encouraged to participate. Sponsorship of AREA webinars and newsletters are an option as well, available for a significantly reduced rate. To make your donation, click here.

VIRTUAL WEBINAR— Noting the overall success of our 2 virtual webinars in 2021, and 1 more to date in 2022, more of these are planned for the future. Please contact Ron Smolarski with (a) your own offer to present a topic, or (b) to suggest future topics for consideration.

MARKETING OPTIONS— Sponsors are immediately sought for the periodic virtual webinars for requested donations of $75 per sponsor. Newsletter sponsor options are also available. Please contact Tom Roney (troney@thomasroneyllc.org) for more information. We extend a big thank-you to all sponsors for your invaluable contribution to AREA.

THE EARNINGS ANALYST— Find access to Volume 17 (2021) of TEA at www.theearningsanalyst.com, which is an abbreviated “pandemic” issue containing manuscripts that didn’t fit into our 2019 issue, Volume 16. AREA members enjoy FREE access to this reputable journal. The TEA’s Editorial Staff is always on the lookout for new and fresh content. They recently revised the TEA Style Sheet to contain a link to the new electronic manuscript submittal process through Dropbox, making it easier for authors and editorial staff to review TEA submittals and manage peer review and author revisions of transcripts in a timely manner. Our professional TEA journal is a collaborative effort of AREA and CPDE. Please contact Editor Kaycea Campbell (kaycera99@yahoo.com) or Co-Editors Nora Ostrofe (nostrofe@jsheld.com) and Rachel Duchon (raduchon@dvecny.com) with your questions and interests.

REMINDER TO CEAs— CEAs must attend a minimum of 1 AREA Conference and 1 AREA Boot Camp every 3 years, accumulate at least 45 accredited CEUs every 3-year period, and pay the necessary recertification fees in order to maintain their CEA credential. Due to cancellation of the 2020 conference, the Board extended the timeframe in which CEA credit must be completed for 1 year from its original date.
